You obviously read the title of this post and got interested so I won’t dilly dally with the deets. This is Cory we’re talking about here!!
Brad Falchuk of Glee heads up this foundation where they run in-school arts education programs that focus on writing stories and performance. It provides kids that wouldn’t get this opportunity normally, the chance to explore their creativity through the beginnings of screenwriting. The foundation is called Young Storytellers. I’ve heard of this cause before, and I highfive it. Ben McKenzie was involved last year. This year???
Cory Monteith, Jenna Uskkowitz, Kevin McHale, Dot-Marie Jones Naya Rivera, and Harry Shum Jr. are confirmed celebrity guests at this years celebrity show.
On October 15, 2011 at 6pm at the Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica, these 6 cast members will be performing the Young Storytellers’ scripts. Sounds uber cute actually.
Don’t fret! A regular Joe can buy VIP tickets that come with a meet and greet with the stars. It’s $500 for an adult and $250 for a child 14 or under, but it does go to a good cause. Just combine all of your saved allowances, ask for an early bday gift from Grandma, or bribe your siblings. The latter works like a charm. It’s for a good cause!
