“Revenge” stars some hotties! Ooh, and some back-stabbing!

I was channel flipping last night and caught myself watching the new ABC drama, Revenge. I must say that I’m kinda liking it!!! The main character, Emily Thorne, is our kind of woman! She’s super smart, knows what she wants, isn’t afraid to go for it, and is filled with ambition and determination! Of course there’s an evil underlying motive, but you need some kind of entertainment, right? Besides, the reason behind her vengeful ways are kinda sorta justified.

If you haven’t watched this show, I’ll give you the scoop. I went online and watched the other couple episodes that aired before last night’s to get myself caught up. It revolves around Emily Thorne, a young girl who’s father had his life ruined and eventually killed by the rich Hamptonites that surrounded him and so-called loved him. When he died, he left his daughter a crapload of money which she is strategically using, along with her super brain, to get back at each person that contributed to the demise of her Dad. This includes some lying, theft, pretending to love people you don’t, and not getting to love the ones you really do. LOVES!

You know what else is super cool? The star of the show, Emily Van Camp, is from a little town right next door! She’s from Port Perry, Ontario! Me likey. Revenge also stars Connor Paolo, which you may remember as Serena Van Der Woodsen’s little brother on Gossip Girl. Nick Wechsler also stars as Jack Porter, a non-richie from the Hampton town who owns the local watering hole and still holds a flame for the real Emily. Josh Bowman plays the real/kinda not real love interest for Emily, Daniel Grayson. Hubba hubba. Madeline Stowe also stars as the main villain, Victoria Grayson, and wow she performs.

Watch Revenge on ABC Wednesdays at 10pm!
