There are a lot of Canadians at TIFF this year, and this is a great thing. Not only are they making great movies, but they’re getting noticed. A very vocal Canadian made a little movie about what Canadians know best – hockey. Jay Baruchel (Sorceror’s Apprentice, Knocked Up) brought together a fab cast for the comedy, Goon, which premiered on Saturday. Liev Schreiber, Allison Pill, Seann William Scott, and Marc-Andre Grondin made up the cast. Liev was not in attendence, but the rest were.
2 Kinda awesome facts – - Allison and Jay are recently engaged and they were uber cute together on the red carpet. They gave the crowd hockey cards of the characters in the movie with gum!
All of the cast took their time with the fans and signed for as many as possible. Thanks a bunch! Me likey all of you for doing so!
