Seriously, When you look at their ages- Nick (32), AJ (34), Brian (36), Howie (38) and Kevin (40) I really just do not want to admit that we are grown up. FML we are all getting old. Thanks. I was hoping to catch this somewhere. Ben’s always a good interview in a genuine, easygoing way. I respect him for keeping what should be private exactly that, but making what could be a packaged kind of talk show appearance worth watching.

Now I hope he has some good material to work with on Southland and news of more things in the works. He’s far too underrated and has so much to offer in really diverse and challenging roles.

This is why I missed Ben McKenzie on the small screen for the last year, almost. An excellent, understated, realistic performance with the subtle touches he does so well even if the story got too fast and furious. Loved him in the different showdowns. Very tense, powerful moments, and that goes for the quiet ones and the action. A game all the way.

Thanks for the premiere post and for the new photos.

Thanks for supporting Ben, Laura. I saw a comment replying to a previous post that was on the money. Ben’s very under the radar and underrated already, not the kind of person to spend his time on shameless self-promotion on social media, something that seems to be the norm, so your fun efforts are a boost. Thanks for keeping us up to date on his work and I hope there will be new projects coming soon, although I’ll take Southland for now if it’s Ben-related. If you have something more exclusively Ben, I’ll be paying attention. He’s the reason I still watch Southland.
