Chris Colfer signs book deal, writes & produces own movie.

Our little Chris Colfer is one busy bee! Even though it broke yesterday that he will not be returning to Glee for it’s 4th season, it’s no sweat off his ass. This barely-out-of-high-school cutie pie is showing to be a smart cookie. He has a book deal with Little, Brown books to publish 2 children’s books for Summer 2012. He also WROTE, yes WROTE, a new kid’s show called “The Little Leftover Witch.” The Disney Channel has already picked it up. That’s not even the kicker.

It was released today that a crapload of A-listers have signed onto his indie film that he also WROTE and is starring and co-producing. What the hell?! I feel like a proud mama bear! His movie is called, “Struck by Lightning,” and he is indeed struck by actual lightning in the movie. Dermot Mulroney, Christina Hendricks and Allison Janney have signed on to also star.

Although it was a down, dirty, shame that Chris found out he wasn’t returning to Glee via Twitter, he shall not fret! Ryan Murphy may be closing him off, but his future looks mighty bright. Personally, we can’t wait to see him again next summer for another Glee Live tour, if they choose to do one. It’s a multi-million dollar money maker, so I think the odds are good. Don’t cha think? He stole the show during “Single Ladies.” Beyonce, who?

Like the picture? Gee thanks. I took it myself when Glee was here in Toronto in June.
